TEAM WITH THE TOP COMMIT: Georgia

Mekhail Sherman
Mekhail Sherman (Rivals.com)

Mekhail Sherman has been committed to Georgia since May, so it’s not as though there’s anything new here. That said, the Bulldogs continue to recruit at a high level, and landing five-star prospects from outside the Peach State has become commonplace. A Washington D.C. product, Sherman chose UGA Alabama, Ohio State, Texas and others.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Noah Sewell

Noah Sewell earned his fifth star this offseason by showcasing an incredible blend of size and athleticism. There used to be some concern that the massive Sewell could grow into a defensive lineman, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. Instead, the elite prospect is one of the top uncommitted prospects in America and will likely land at Oregon, Georgia, Alabama or Texas A&M. The fact that Sewell’s older brother is an offensive lineman at Oregon shouldn't be overlooked.

TEAM TO WATCH: Clemson

Justin Flowe

Clemson’s star-studded recruiting class doesn’t need the help, but the fact that the Tigers are in play for California-based five-star Justin Flowe is impressive. Dabo Swinney will likely end the cycle with the nation’s top haul regardless of what happens here, but reaching across the country to land Flowe would be the cherry on top. The California-based star has a top four of Clemson, Georgia, Miami and Oregon, leaving the Tigers with a solid chance.
