ROB CASSIDY: MARCUS ROSEMY

I don’t know if Marcus Rosemy is a five-star just yet. That said, he’s possibly one to watch down the line, as he has the physical tools. Rosemy has some developing to do, but his size and versatility makes him one of the top wide receiver prospects in the country and his development trajectory is positive. Moving him to a five-star at this juncture, would be a bold move that could make us look smart down the line. At the same, time, such a thing is a risk. His junior season will tell us a lot about what kinds of strides he’s made this offseason.

ADAM GORNEY: KELEE RINGO

Kelee Ringo really made a statement at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas this summer when he won the Fastest on the Field competition and then looked solid for the rest of the day as well.

The Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro prospect looked special again when I watched his high school team during preseason practice as well - he’s just on another level than many other players at the same stage.

Ringo listens to his coaches and then he has the athleticism and competitive drive to go out on the field and get it done. He’s a phenomenal asset on offense, but his real strength is at safety where he can scan the field and then go make a play that others cannot. His speed, physical presence and raw ability is something to watch.

A native of Washington, the Huskies are definitely a contender in his recruitment. But Ringo is also hearing a lot from Oregon, USC, Oklahoma, Ohio State and many others. With 30 offers, Ringo is going to take his time with recruiting.

CHAD SIMMONS: MYLES MURPHY

Myles Murphy had a very impressive sophomore season, then he built on that this spring and summer heading into his junior year. He is monster at defensive end. He earned an invite to the Five-Star Challenge and then performed at a high level inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium against many that are older than him.

Murphy is being sought after by many SEC programs, Clemson and others. He is a complete defensive end with length, a burst, athleticism, strength and upside. He is still raw in some areas, but when you see him put it together, then think about what he can be down the road, you think five stars.
