As part of Rivals QB Week, we surveyed seven of the top high school quarterbacks in the country and asked them about recruiting, playing the position and more.

1. If you could play with any two 2018 prospects in college, who would they be and why?
Trevor Lawrence (Clemson commit): I will say Jamaree Salyer and Jackson Carman because I want some big linemen up front.
Jacob Sirmon (Washington commit): My top two 2018 recruit would be my cousin Jack Sirmon and the other would be Isaac Taylor-Stuart because he is a stud DB and I’d love for him to be a part of the UDub class with me.
Emory Jones (Ohio State commit): First would be Micah Parsons because of ability and athleticism. His talent is crazy to me. The second would be OL Jamaree Salyer because destroys people.
Justin Fields: There are too many guys I want to play with just to name two.
Cameron Rising (Texas commit): Too many good ones, but I know Dominick Anderson would be on my team.
Tanner McKee: Devon Williams and Gunner Romney were on my team at The Opening and I felt we connected well.
Phil Jurkovec (Notre Dame commit): I'd choose Kevin Austin and Markese Stepp. I know Kevin can get open on any route and I'll definitely get him the ball. I think Markese is very underrated. He went through an injury his junior year so wasn’t really able to play that much last year. I think he's just so physical, fast, and knows where to hit the hole. I think it'd be fun to share the backfield with him.
2. If the NFL is not your future, what do you want to be doing 10 years from now?
Lawrence: I am not sure what I want to do yet, but whatever I do, I want to give back to the community and whatever I do, I want to make a difference and not just be working for money.
Sirmon: I want to be an orthodontist and open my own practice.
Jones: I would love to own a fitness facility because it is something I love and I know I would have fun with it.
Fields: I just want to be a successful businessman.
Rising: I could see myself as a fireman or police officer.
McKee: Hopefully running my own business.
Jurkovec: I'm not sure right now. I might major in some type of business.
3. What has been the biggest moment in your high school career?
Lawrence: It would be when we won our first state championship my sophomore year.
Sirmon: My biggest moment in high school would either be committing to Washington or becoming an Under Armour All-American.
Jones: It would be going to the Elite 11 in L.A. I got to meet so many top quarterbacks and we all just connected well. Being around them was a big deal for me.
Fields: It was my first touchdown pass my sophomore year because it was a big load off my back.
Rising: Coming back from a 19-point fourth quarter deficit against our rivals in 2016.
McKee: We had a scrimmage my sophomore year against Santa Margarita and our starting quarterback was hurt so I had to start. I had one of my best games and it was my first time playing with varsity players, so I felt I showed I could play with anyone.
Jurkovec: The biggest moment has probably been going to the state championship in basketball because it's something that has never happened in my school's history. It was a special season.
4. Who is the best quarterback in the NFL?
Lawrence: Derek Carr. I like Carr because he can move, he is smart and honestly I really like his character.
Sirmon: Tom Brady. He is the best hands down. His work ethic and continued separation is superb.
Jones: Aaron Rogers. I love the way he moves around, his decision-making and some of the things he does are amazing.
Fields: Tom Brady because of his championships.
Rising: Drew Brees. He is without a doubt the best to me. He is consistent, he is the most accurate, he has a strong arm, he has great feet and he is an outstanding leader.
McKee: Tom Brady. He is a great leader ad he pushes his team to their full potential. He pays attention to detail and he is clutch.
Jurkovec: Ben Roethlisberger. It is him because he is skilled and he is a beast. I try to model my game after him a little bit because he is savvy and just makes plays. I like how he plays.
5. How important are facilities in your college decision?
Lawrence: The facilities at Clemson were not that important in my decision.
Sirmon: Facilities are important because they set the standard and a vibe at that university, but I value the education and coaching staff more than facilities.
Jones: Facilities are important, but not that important to me. I like nice facilities, but they will get old and become normal when I get to school and see them every day.
Fields: All colleges have nice facilities, so they are not that important.
Rising: Facilities are not important, but they are a big plus because having good facilities can impact recovery, workouts and it can affect the amount of resources a player has to improve himself.
McKee: Facilities are nice, but it would be shallow of me to base my college career off of facilities. I am going academics, coaches, players and system.
Jurkovec: A little bit but not too much. The facilities are important but every major college right now has great facilities. I saw some other schools that had great facilities but that didn't play too much of a role.
