Rivals No. 1 Hand cant wait for UA game

With his decision date quickly approaching, Da'Shawn Hand has more than one reason to celebrate. In fact, between today and tomorrow he has three. On Thursday Hand, the top player in the Rivals100, will announce where he is playing his college football and celebrate is 18th birthday but today the star defensive end from Woodbridge (Va.) Woodbridge Senior received his Under Armour All-American jersey.
"Oh my goodness, I can't wait! Florida, nice weather and the best players in the country," said the 6-foot-4, 248-pound Hand. "It's kind of like the Pro Bowl for high school football. I just want to have fun."

Hand is a veteran of the camp circuit but the Under Armour All-American Game will be a different challenge for him.
"In a combine there's not pads and you aren't in game situations so all you really do is one-on-ones," he said. "I can't wait to get on the field and compete with the top people."
Hand will be deciding between Michigan, Alabama and Florida tomorrow and he says it's an even race.
"All three schools have great academics, great football tradition, a great coaching state," Hand said. "The players have nothing but good things to say. I got good feedback from the players. The alumni groups, the food and the places are all great. It's just three great schools. I can't go wrong."
When asked if he knows which school he will choose, Hand answered the question but still didn't give anything away.
"I'm going to the university......that plays football," he smiled.
Hand last visited Michigan for the Notre Dame game, Alabama for the Tennessee game and Florida for the Vanderbilt game.
