MEMORIAL DAY

The week started with a remembrance of service members who have fallen in the line of duty. Memorial Day hits closer to home on campuses like West Point, but it is special elsewhere as well.. The late Lou Somogyi would publish a column over Memorial Day Weekend in the past, and the staff at Blue and Gold brought it back this year, just over a month after Lou’s passing.

That dead period did not end until this past Tuesday, and it seems every prospect in the country is on the road this week. Several schools held specific events to mark the occasion.
