This week’s offers: Florida State, Georgia

Status report: Hall had a handful of offers coming into last week, but saw his process hit a new level when Georgia and Florida State suddenly joined the chase. Hall acknowledged that the Bulldogs and Seminoles immediately became his top two. He is also hopeful that schools like Auburn and Florida are close to offering. At this point, Hall does not plan to make a final decision until National Signing Day. While he does not claim one leader, he did say that he grew up as a fan of both Florida State and Miami. With an additional visit to Tallahassee likely in July, the Seminoles look to be the team to beat at this point.

In his words: “It felt great because I have been working hard and now it paying off. They both are great school and I know it’s going to be a hard decision.”

Visit plans: Hall took recent visits to Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and North Carolina State. The offers from the Bulldogs and Seminoles came after impressive camp performances at each. He does not have any additional visits scheduled at this time, but is looking to make his way to Auburn, Florida State and Florida when the opportunity arises.

This week’s offers: Notre Dame, Ohio State

Status report: Impressive camp performances can quickly bolster a recruits recruiting process, which is exactly what happened with Gant. Excelling at both Ohio State and Notre Dame, the athletic linebacker was able to secure offers from both elite programs over the weekend. Despite not claiming any current favorites, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Michigan State are all in a good position with Gant. The offers are likely to pile up for Gant, but look for these three schools to be serious players until the end.

In his words: “It's amazing and a very exciting time for my family and I. It's great to see all my hard work paying off and it's just a very exciting time. It's hard to take it all in sometimes and be thankful to what's happening to me and how early it is all happening.”

Visit plans: Gant was at Ohio State for a visit on Monday, which follows up a visit to Columbus on Friday which is when he earned the offer from the Buckeyes. He also earned his Notre Dame offer at their Irish Invasion camp on Saturday. His only additional camp stop at this point was at Toledo. Next up is a trip to East Lansing to compete at the Michigan State camp.

This week’s offers: UCLA, Texas A&M, Tulane

Status report: Marshall, who was one of the few 2018 recruits at the recent Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Presented by Under Armour, continued to watch his recruiting process skyrocket with offers from the Bruins and Aggies. He remains open to every school that offers, but as with all top recruits from the state of Louisiana, it will likely be difficult for other program to pull him away from LSU, which has already offered. He also maintains that he will likely wait until his National Signing Day to make a final decision, but left the door open about the possibility of a commitment prior to that.

In his words: “It feels great. God is good. Not many 2018 players get this opportunity. I'm thankful. I’m very surprised. I didn't think it would be this early.”

Visit plans: Marshall has taken a visit to TCU and attended satellite camps to showcase his talents in front of Texas A&M, Tulane and Louisiana-Lafayette coaches. His next college visit will be to LSU, where he will be competing at their camp. He also mentioned that he would like to visit Texas A&M and Miami when he has the time.
