This week’s offers: USC, Florida

Status report: Ekiyor, who is one of the top offensive guards in the class of 2018, continues to pile up offer. The latest from the Trojans and Gators just adds to his already impressive total. While Notre Dame has yet to offer, the Fighting Irish are a school to keep an eye on if they do join the chase. Aside from their proximity, Notre Dame has also picked up an early commitment from 2018 running back Markese Stepp, who is a teammate and friend of Ekiyor’s. From the schools who have already offered, while he claims no favorites, Tennessee is the school that seems to have made the most prominent early impression.

In his words: “I honestly still can't believe that these schools I grew up watching are actually looking at me. It’s just a blessing from God. I’m very surprised. They [the offers] came out of nowhere.”

Visit plans: Ekiyor’s most recent visits were to Stanford and Notre Dame. He is scheduled to check out USC and UCLA from July 29-30. He also mentioned that he would like to visit both Florida and Florida State, but nothing is scheduled to either of those schools yet.

This week’s offers: UCLA, Colorado

Status report: Now up to five offers, Remigio is still basking in the glow of seeing his recruiting process take off. Because of this, look for him to take his time as he is still adjusting to all of the new attention he is receiving. Growing up in Southern California, Remigio acknowledges that grabbing offers from both USC and UCLA was important, as both schools should remain big players for him throughout his process.

In his words: “It’s a true blessing. I could not be more thankful for the coaches and programs that believe I can help their program. Coming from Southern California, the recent USC and UCLA offers are dreams that have truly been fulfilled. I was surprised when I received (an offer from) Howard. Once the bigger offers came in, it took me a few days to comprehend the magnitude of those offers.”

Visit plans: Remigio’s most recent offers were to Michigan and Notre Dame in April. Next on his agenda is a trip to Tennessee on July 21 for a camp, as he looks to grab his first SEC offer.

This week’s offers: Michigan State, Indiana

Status report: Doyle recently hit double-digit offers as he has quickly become one of the more sought-after quarterbacks in the Mid-Atlantic region. He has been active this spring and summer with visits and will look to do the same during the remainder of the summer and then during the fall to attend games. He plans to use these games as an opportunity to check out each school’s offense in person, which he hopes will help him trim his list down. Doyle mentioned that USC and Texas were the main schools he followed while growing up, mainly because of their solid quarterback play. He also has a fond appreciation of the Naval Academy, due to ties through his grandfather, cousins and family friends. Doyle claims no current favorites and is definitely still open to any additional schools that offer him.

In his words: “It feels great. To know that schools are taking an interest in me really is an awesome feeling. Also it’s good to see that my hard work is paying off. There are a few other quarterbacks in my class that have more offers than me, so I am not surprised, just very blessed.”

Visit plans: Doyle’s most recent visits were to Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State and North Carolina State. He does not have any additional visits planned, but mentioned that he may try to attend another camp or two at the end of the July. Eventually Doyle would like to visit each school that has offered him, and mentioned Nebraska specifically as one he has yet to check out in person.
