Buzz: Rudolph successfully recruited nine players for the Panthers. Sure, some of them were two- and three-star players, but it wasn't all about the quantity for the Pitt offensive coordinator and tight ends coach. Rudolph was the lead recruiter for five-star offensive tackle Dorian Johnson and quarterback of the future four-star Tra'von Chapman. Among the other recruits Rudolph coaxed into committing were James Conner, Scott Orndoff, Tony Harper and Jester Weah. Rudolph's success on the recruiting trail will certainly help the Panthers get prepared for ACC play.

Buzz: Matt Rhule's defensive backs coach was the lead recruiter on three of the most highly regarded players from Temple's 2013 class. He was instrumental in getting Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek three-star running back Zaire Williams to visit Temple and flip from West Virginia. Brown was the lead recruiter for three-star Cherry Hill (N.J.) Camden Catholic linebacker Jarred Alwan and three-star Williamstown (N.J.) outside linebacker Buddy Brown, who had multiple BCS offers. Francis Brown's efforts will help continue building a solid program at Temple.
Buzz: Wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Cersosimo made key contributions to Connecticut's recruiting class. He was responsible for bringing in three-star Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy wide receiver Dhameer Bradley, one of the top recruits for the Huskies. Two-star Burtonsville (Md.) Paint Branch defensive back Thomas Lucas and two-star Windsor (Conn.) defensive end Cole Ormsby were also convinced to commit to Connecticut by Cersosimo.
Buzz: Cohen successfully recruited six players, five of whom were rated three-star prospects, for Rutgers during this recruiting cycle: Wilmington (Del.) St. Elizabeth wide receiver Andre Patton, Madison (N.J.) athlete Justin Goodwin, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage defensive back Bryant Gross-Armiento, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School linebacker Nick Internicola and Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy linebacker Lester Liston. Cohen got a commitment from two-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver John Tsimis.
Buzz: Going into this cycle, the Cardinals knew they weren't going to take a huge number of players in this year's class, so they had to make the scholarships count. One of the biggest targets from Day 1 was four-star wide receiver James Quick, and Dugans helped lead the change to land the talented in-state prospect, holding off a late push from notorious closer Urban Meyer. Dugans was instrumental in the recruitment of Florida signees Donel Elam and De'Asian Richardson. Dugans farmed his Sunshine State roots to pull in Elam and Richardson, who will add immediate depth to the defense.
Buzz: Engram, the wide receivers coach, brought in six commitments for the Panthers and, with a little more luck, could have been the Big East Recruiter of the Year. Engram's prize commitment came when four-star wide receiver and hometown favorite Tyler Boyd chose to sign with the Panthers on National Signing Day. Two other players from Boyd's school chose to sign with Engram and the Panthers, Titus Howard and Terrish Webb. Three-stars Zach Challingsworth, Rachid Ibrahim and Aaron Reese also committed to Pittsburgh because of Engram, and he barely missed on another big fish, wide receiver Robert Foster.
Buzz: Usually a coaching change has a negative effect on recruiting, but McDonald has done an impressive job to minimize that problem. McDonald pulled in commitments from five three-star players. Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage School running back Tyler Provo and Miami (Fla.) Central linebacker Marqez Hodge were the first players McDonald convinced to sign with the Orangemen. The last two weeks for the recruiting cycle were when McDonald did his best work, pulling in commitments from Raleigh (N.C.) Millbrook wide receiver Corey Cooper, Hialeah (Fla.) Dade Christian tight end Aaron Batten and Delray Beach (Fla.) Atlantic Brisly Estime.
Buzz: Before leaving Rutgers to become the linebackers coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Smith was one of the Scarlet Knights' top recruiters. He was responsible for bringing in four-star Piscataway (N.J.) athlete and top-rated Rutgers recruit Nadir Barnwell. Three-star Metuchen (N.J.) offensive lineman Dorian Miller, three-star Monmouth Junction (N.J.) South Brunswick athlete TJ Taylor, three-star New Berlin (N.Y.) Milford Academy athlete Delon Stephenson and two-star Red Bank (N.J.) Red Bank Catholic defensive tackle Josh Klecko were recruited by Smith.
Buzz: Linebackers coach Wholley made huge contributions to Connecticut's recruiting class. Covering New York City, among other areas, Wholley secured commitments from three-star Brooklyn (N.Y.) Poly Prep tight end Cameron Stapleton, three-star Thornwood (N.Y.) Westlake offensive lineman Tommy Hopkins and three-star Cheshire (Conn.) Cheshire Academy linebacker Cory Jasudowich. Two-star Middle Village (N.Y.) Christ The King tight end Jordan Fuchs and two-star Rockaway Park (N.Y.) Beach Channel defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi were recruited by Wholley.
Buzz: The Bulls should be very thankful that Woodie was recruiting for them. Woodie was responsible for bringing in eight commitments, one of whom was four-star Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee defensive tackle Derrick Calloway. Tampa (Fla.) Freedom defensive back Nate Godwin, East Point (Ga.) Tri Cities offensive lineman Jeremi Hall, Tampa (Fla.) Hillsborough linebacker Nigel Harris, Clearwater (Fla.) Countryside defensive end Mike Love, Sarasota (Fla.) Booker defensive end Eric Mayes and Immokalee (Fla.) defensive tackle Deadrin Senat were all three-star prospects whom Woodie recruited. He got a commitment out of St. Petersburg (Fla.) Northeast Auggie Sanchez.
