As if south Florida wasn't already swarming with talented football players, a slew of the best players the nation has to offer are invading the Ft. The game features 58 players that are rated by Rivals.com as three-stars or better and 36 players of four-star caliber. In turn, Rivals.com plans to bring you full coverage of the event from the first practice on Tuesday morning to the last snap on Friday night.
While the Friday night game in the Orange Bowl stadium will feature such exciting face-offs as Florida State commit Nick Moody trying to track down four-star running back Cyrus Gray, practice week should provide plenty of intrigue as well. Matchups like the nation's No. 9 rated wide receiver Kemonte Bateman going up against the No. 4 rated cornerback, Aaron Hester can hardly be classified as a tune-up.
Monday, Rivals.com will provide player features, photo galleries and live blog updates, all before the first whistle has been blown at practice.
On Tuesday, practice kicks off for both teams and the Rivals.com staff will kick into high gear. Get blow-by-blow reports of who is impressing between the lines with live blog updates throughout the six practices.
You can expect a daily Hot 11 from both the East and the West detailing who the top players and performers of the day were. Another daily feature will be notebooks on each team's day of practice discussing the news of the day, injury updates, tidbits, team leaders, etc.
A standard staple throughout the week will be daily player features, photo galleries and of course loads of recruiting updates on the top prospects on both teams.
From an analysis standpoint, we will be taking a look at position-by-position matchups between the two teams, the best of each position at the event, coach's feedback features and break-downs of each team's top prospects.
The coverage won't slow down on game day.
Friday night's game will be followed by AMP video features, photo galleries, game stories and player features.
Finally, Rivals.com will recap the week's action providing a glimpse at the top players overall for each team, Rivals.com's best of the best individual awards and a final Hot 11 for the week.
With talent to spare and speed to burn in Ft. Lauderdale, stay tuned to Rivals.com's unmatched Offense-Defense All-Star game coverage to stay ahead of the game.
