Rivals Camp Series in Phoenix, L.A. filling up

The Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour kicks off on March 9 in Phoenix and March 10 in Los Angeles, and the rosters are filling up with star-studded players from the West.

All events in the Rivals Camp Series are free and invitation-only at the best facilities featuring the best coaches working with the best prospects in the nation.
Those who attend will not only get tremendous exposure from Rivals.com as well Under Armour apparel, but will also get a chance to earn a spot at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in June and potentially enhance their status as a candidate for the Under Armour All-American Game in January.
This is one of the strongest years for talent in recent memory in Arizona, and many of that state's top players have already signed up for the March 9 camp at Chandler Hamilton.
Included on the early list are four-star wide receiver Jalen Brown from Phoenix Mountain Pointe and four-star defensive end Qualen Cunningham from the host school.
Brown, the top player in Arizona's loaded 2014 class, already has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, California, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Stanford, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Washington and many others.
Cunningham has Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, Washington and others on his list.
Others from Arizona and surrounding states who have registered include ATH Dominique Fenstermacher, who has Arizona and Nebraska offers; offensive tackle Austin Hall, with Arizona, Arizona State, Washington and Washington State offers; 2015 athlete Christian Kirk who boasts Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA offers; and offensive tackle Andrew Mike, who lists Arizona, Arizona State, California, Penn State, Utah, Washington and others on his offer list.
In addition, 2015 quarterback Brett Rypien is coming from Spokane (Wash.) Shadle Park to compete. He already has a Washington State offer.
Also expected in Phoenix are Chase Blakley, the Idaho tight end who has a Washington offer, La Habra, Calif., defensive tackle Greg Gaines (Colorado offer) and Kalen Ballage, the Falcon, Colo., athlete who lists offers from Michigan, Boise State, Colorado, Utah and others.
Recently, 2015 Newhall (Calif.) Hart wide receiver Trent Irwin, who has a Colorado offer on his list, signed up for the Phoenix camp. So did stud 2015 dual-threat quarterback Bryce Perkins from Chandler, Ariz. He already has Arizona State and UCLA offers.

While Phoenix is shaping up nicely, the Los Angeles camp is impressive as well.
Being held at Lake Forest (Calif.) El Toro the day after the Phoenix camp, many of the top prospects in California and beyond have signed up.
Leading the group are two pairs of teammates - and all four-stars -- in El Cerrito, Calif., standout linebacker Derik Calhoun and cornerback Adarius Pickett and Los Angeles Salesian studs Marquis Ware and Jamardre Cobb.
Ware, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete, has Arizona, Boise State, Colorado, Ohio State, Oregon State, South Carolina, Stanford, Texas A&M, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Washington State on his list.
Cobb boasts offers from Arizona, Colorado, Ohio State, South Carolina, Stanford, Washington State and others.
Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Nebraska, UCLA, Utah and Washington are in for Calhoun and Pickett has Arizona State, Cal, Nevada, UCLA and Utah so far.
It is expected that four-star running back Joe Mixon from Oakley (Calif.) Freedom, who has 25 offers including Ohio State, Tennessee and others, will register within days.
The list does not stop there -- not even close.
Vanderbilt quarterback commit K.J. Carta-Samuels from San Jose (Calif.) Bellarmine Prep has signed up. So has four-star defensive end Connor Humphreys from Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic.
The quarterback group will be boosted by some outstanding underclassmen, including Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure's Ricky Town, who has Miami and UCLA offers, and Sandy (Utah) Jordan's Austin Kafentzis, who has BYU, Utah, Utah State and Wisconsin offers. Both are 2015 quarterbacks.
Palmdale, Calif., running back Demario Richard, who has Arizona, Oregon and UCLA offers, will be there along with Inglewood, Calif., wide receiver Zaire Andre and 2015 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei tight end Kyle Penniston, who already has a Florida State offer.
Apple Valley, Calif., offensive lineman Troy Bacon (TCU offer), 2015 standout Tristen Hoge from Pocatello (Idaho) Highland (BYU and Boise State offers) and Newbury Park, Calif., offensive lineman Zach Okun lead a strong line group. Okun, another 2015 standout, has offers from Arizona, Kansas State, UCLA and Washington.
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., cornerback Ralston Compton, whose offer list could blow up soon, will be in attendance with other top Inland Empire prospects. Osa Masina, a standout 2015 athlete from Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton, is expected. He already has Michigan, BYU, Utah and Wisconsin on his offer list.
Blakley, who's working out at the Phoenix camp on Saturday, will be at the L.A. camp on Sunday as well. Marysville (Wash.) Marysville-Pilchuck 2015 running back Austin Joyner, who has Washington and Washington State offers, has signed up.
Other top players include 2015 Encino (Calif.) Crespi cornerback Marvell Tell, Petaluma (Calif.) Casa Grande teammates John Porchivina and JaJuan Lawson, Los Angeles Salesian's Rodney Carr, Gardena (Calif.) Serra quarterback Jalen Greene, Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian running back D.J. Riggins, Brawley (Calif.) Brawley Union linebacker Donavin Buck and many others.
After Phoenix and L.A., the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour heads to Houston and Dallas for the weekend of March 16-17, and then Orlando and Miami in late March.
