Underclassmen Challenge
The Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour is
a new series of regional camps for elite athletes.
The seventh camp in the series will be held April 6 at Hoover High School in
Birmingham, Ala.
Top players committed to the Birmingham camp include Rivals100 RB Racean Thomas from Oxford (Ala.), who has 10 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Florida, USC and UCLA ; Rivals100 LB Tre Williams from Mobile (Ala.), who has offers from five SEC schools, plus USC and Florida State; Rivals250 LB Rashaan Evans from Auburn (Ala.), who has 22 offers; Rivals250 safety C.J. Hampton from Meridian (Miss.), who has committed to Mississippi; Rivals250 LB Shaun Dion Hamilton from Montgomery (Ala.) Carver, who has 22 offers; RB Kamryn Pettway from Prattville (Ala.), who has committed to Florida State; RB Aeris Williams from West Point (Miss.), who is being recruited by Mississippi and Mississippi State; 2015 RB Traveon Samuel from Phenix City (Ala.) Central, who has four offers; 2015 WR Malik Dear from Jackson (Miss.) Murrah, who already has offers from six schools, including Alabama and Texas.
Rivals.com has long been the dominant source of recruiting
information and coverage, so it's only logical that Rivals would team with
market-leader Under Armour to provide the best camp experience for high school
football players.
The Rivals Camp Series is free. All players can be nominated to attend.
Top performers at the 15 regional camps could qualify for a spot in the
Rivals100 Five Star Challenge and top underclassmen could qualify for a spot in
the Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge, both annual events and considered the
elite events in the football recruiting world.
