High School: Pflugerville, Texas | Four-star | 2015 | No. 153 overall
Rivals camp stop: Rivals Camp Series | March 16, 2013 | Houston, Texas
What he is doing now: Perine is one of the major reasons Oklahoma is in the mix for a spot in the College Football Playoff and he has been a star for the Sooners since arriving on campus last year. He played a major role in Oklahoma's 44-34 victory over undefeated Baylor on Saturday, rushing for 166 yards and two touchdowns.
What we thought then: Perine came into the RCS event in Houston as a known commodity, but nevertheless impressed with his size and speed. At the event, Perine was the No. 3 overall top offensive performer and was praised for his ability to move at his size, especially when it came to catching balls out of the backfield and competing in one-on-ones against linebackers and defensive backs.
