SOMERSET, N.J. - The Rivals Camp Series presented by adidas returned to New Jersey this weekend with the Rivals adizero Combine. More than 1,200 prospect showed off their skills, and 13 punched their tickets for Sunday’s Rivals 3 Stripe Camp presented by adidas.

The depth of the quarterback position was highlighted in the preview article for this weekend's Rivals 3 Stripe Camp, and a trio of wide receivers earned their way in via Saturday's combine to catch passes from that talented group. Two of those prospects, 2022 standout Jared Massay and 2021's Jayson Raines, attend nearby West Orange High School. Massay is already 6-foot-1 as a freshman and clocked an impressive 4.1 shuttle time on Saturday. Florida and North Carolina are two programs he grew up following, and a visit to North Carolina is in his future plans. Raines, meanwhile, is even bigger at 6-foot-2.5 and 185 pounds. His shuttle of 4.2 was nearly as impressive as his teammate. Raines was born in Florida, where he grew up following the Florida State Seminoles as well as the Michigan Wolverines. The recruiting process has already started for Raines, with Duke, Maryland, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Rutgers showing early interest. Joining Massay and Raines in the wide receiver group on Sunday will be rising senior Tahjay Moore, another local product out of New Brunswick High School. Moore is already on board with an offer from Massachusetts, while programs such as Boston College, Connecticut, Rutgers, Temple and Virginia Tech are showing interest. Moore also brings impressive size to the position, measuring in at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds.

Sydnor made the 90-minute drive down from Harlem, and it paid off as he was invited back for Sunday's Rivals 3 Stripe Camp. Measuring in at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, Sydnor played on the junior varsity squad last season but will get a chance to go against the best in the region Sunday. His potential has drawn some early small school interest from FCS programs such as Stony Brook. Sydnor will look to springboard his Rivals 3 Stripe Camp performance into a summer camp schedule that includes stops at Boston College, Maryland, Massachusetts, Penn State, Rutgers and Syracuse.

Jones immediately turned heads when he walked in because of his size (6-foot-6, 260-pounds) but he ran better than expected. He’s done junior days at Stony Brook and Marist but most of the schools showing interest in him are Div. III schools. Jones plans on camping at James Madison this summer but he grew up a Penn State fan so expect him to make it to State College at some point.

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco churns prospects every year but Geraci’s recruitment hasn’t taken off yet. He’s heard from programs such as Maryland, Princeton, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Duke, West Virginia and others but none of them have pulled the trigger on an offer yet. Look for Geraci to camp at Rutgers, Maryland and West Virginia this summer with a trip to Michigan sprinkled in at some point to see his brother.

Hill’s overall speed and athleticism was really impressive for a freshman. He ran the 5-10-5 in 4.2 seconds, the 3-cone drill in 7.1 seconds, and broad jumped nearly nine and half feet. Central Michigan, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Virginia have shown a little interest so far but he really likes Clemson. Hill would like to visit all of these programs in addition to Oklahoma.

Augustine is built like a future big-time prospect but still needs to fill out. Just over 6-foot-1 and more than 240-pounds, this freshman did the 5-10-5 drill in 4.7 seconds and impressed throughout the day. So far he’s only visited Rutgers but more visits are in the works. Augustine has received some interest from Temple as well but his recruitment is in the very early stages.

Artis was another freshman that caught everybody’s eye. At 6-foot-4, 250-pounds, Artis has elite size for his age and still tested very well. Rutgers has already hosted the New York native but Fordham is the only other school to show serious interest so far. Ohio State could be a factor down the road because Artis grew up a fan of the Buckeyes.

Other prospects who received invites include 2021 offensive lineman Michael Entwistle, 2020 athlete Ahyan Brown-Miller, 2020 defensive back Ali Diaby, and 2021 offensive lineman Ernario Vushaj.
