NEBRASKA

The Cornhuskers had several targets and commits in attendance, none more notable than Rivals100 athlete Cameron Jurgens. The Huskers commit worked out at both tight end and linebacker and earned an invitation to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge, where he will be tasked with helped Nebraska’s impressive class grow even bigger. Also making the top performers were Huskers commits Masry Mapieu (defensive line) and Will Farniok (offensive line). Both players showed impressive improvement year-to-year from last year’s camp stop in Kansas City and Mapieu impressed while also showing he has more potential to tap into going forward. On the recruiting front, several of the event’s top prospects said the Huskers are likely to get visits over the summer, including Rivals100 defensive back Houston Griffith, Rivals250 defensive lineman Michael Thompson and three-star defensive tackle Ronnie Perkins.

MISSOURI

While the event took place at O’Fallon Township High School in Illinois, for all intents and purposes it was a home camp for the Tigers. Despite not having any commits in attendance, Mizzou was on the tongue of several of the event’s most impressive performers, chief among them Rivals100 defensive lineman Trevor Trout. Not only was Trout impressive during drills, but several prospects we spoke with said they expect him to play his college ball in Columbia. Other impressive performers who spoke highly of Missouri included defensive tackle Michael Thompson. Not only are Trout and Thompson two of the Tigers' top targets, but they’re also two of the nation’s best linemen and both will be headed to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge. The chance for them to grow their bond further over a weekend together in Indianapolis may help the Tigers' chances to land the duo down the road.

TENNESSEE

Several prospects from Tennessee made the trip to St. Louis to test their skills against the Midwest’s best, including a trio of Tennessee commitments. None was more impressive than wide receiver Alontae Taylor. The showing by Taylor caps off a terrific spring camp season and he was rewarded with a trip to the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge for his efforts. Class of 2019 defensive back commit Adonis Otey was among the top defensive performers as well. He’s proving that Tennessee’s decision to push for his commitment early in the process was warranted. Another Vols underclassman commit who turned heads was 2019 athlete T.J. Sheffield, a shifty offensive playmaker who could play all-purpose back, slot receiver or perhaps even cornerback in college. Add in 2019 four-star Trey Knox, a Tennessee native and Vols target, earning his invitation to Indianapolis and it was a successful day for Tennessee.
