Winning is important to Trezman Marshall. It is very important.

The 6-foot-1, 230 pound athlete out of Homerville (Ga.) Clinch County won a state title his freshman year, then again this past season as a junior. He wants to play for national titles on the next level and that is why he is down to the three schools on his list.

"I like to win and I want to win in college, so that is how I got down to my top three schools," said Marshall. "Georgia is coming up and Alabama and Clemson are already there, so I feel like I have three of the best schools in the country on top of my list.

"Each school is pretty similar and I have visited all three, so I like them all the same. I feel like all three will be winning a lot when I get to college."

Marshall has visited Alabama twice, Clemson once and Georgia over half a dozen times, so he feels the most comfortable in Athens.

"I know a lot of the players up at Georgia, it feels like home to me and it is where I know the most people because I have been there the most.

"I like it at Alabama and Clemson too. They have great coaches, I like the atmosphere at each school and I will probably visit them again soon."

Soon? How soon?

That question comes up because it may not be too much longer before Marshall gives the Crimson Tide, Tigers or Bulldogs his verbal commitment.

"I could commit sometime after basketball season. I kind of have a plan, but I cannot talk about that right now. I do not have a date or anything set yet, but I have been thinking about it.

"I may take one more visit to each school, but I think I could commit pretty soon. I have been thinking about it and talking about it with some people."
