Radnor (Pa.) Archbishop Carroll wide receiver Maurice Stovall used to list Virginia as his leader. It seems that things have tightened up in the race for one of the nation’s best playmakers.
“I don’t have a leader,” said the 6-foot-5, 208-pound wideout with 4.3-second speed in the 40-yard dash. “Honestly, it’s wide open.”
Stovall doesn’t have any visits set up yet, but knows the five schools he’ll see.
“Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Virginia, Michigan and Tennessee,” he said. “I’ll set up my visits soon.”
In his first two games this season, Stovall has caught seven passes for 197 yards and a touchdown. With his long arms, height and speed, Stovall is the ninth-ranked wide receiver in the country and a member of the Rivals 100 team for August.
