Rival250 RB checking out options

Cedar Hill (Texas) 2017 Rivals250 all-purpose back Kaegun Williams has already received scholarship offers from Kansas, SMU, Tulsa, and most recently Tennessee.
Williams hopes to visit Tennessee when the Volunteers host the Arkansas Razorbacks, but Williams is already getting very familiar with the Tennessee program.

"Coach Smitty (Stephen Smith) was the offensive coordinator here," Williams said. "I'm really good friends with him, and I talk to him pretty much every day. So he talked to me and told me the running back coach really liked me and it just went on from there."
Williams visited TCU over the weekend and he would like to visit Alabama in the future. He has already visited Texas and Texas Tech.
"I went to (Texas) Tech vs. Sam Houston and Texas vs. Rice," Williams said. "Texas, everything was about the tradition. That really stood out to me. (Tech), it was about the same. They run that high tempo offense and I really like that."
Williams, who transferred to Cedar Hill from Stephenville, has quickly made himself a valuable and versatile member of the Longhorn offense. In Friday's 36-21 win over Coppell, Williams took direct snaps, lined up in the slot, and worked at running back, as he totaled 36 yards on 10 rushes and 28 yards on two receptions.
"Me being versatile I can play quarterback if I need to, and on that one pass I was actually trying to throw it back to Avery so we're trying to get everyone involved," Williams said. "But I'm just trying to do a little bit of everything so I can contribute to my team."
