Rising junior receiver talks recruiting

Clairton, Pennsylvania wide receiver Tyler Boyd has one offer thus far and his offer list is bound to get bigger.
Boyd, a rising junior wide receiver from the Keystone State, is 6-foot-1 and 168-pounds.

Earlier this year Boyd earned a verbal offer from Pitt. While he's grateful for the offer it sure doesn't sound like the Panthers are way out in front of the competition.
"They offered me back in July," Boyd recalled. "We had a 7-on-7 tournament at Pitt. They've told me they liked me and everything. They talked to me and my mom about everything.
"Pitt's cool. I would go there. It just seems like everybody from Clairton that goes to Pitt ... they're not big-time players yet. It doesn't seem like they're showing them any love. None of them have made it yet."
Earlier this summer Boyd took an unofficial visit to Virginia and said that went very well. He met one-on-one with head Wahoo coach Mike London and was told that he is being evaluated going forward.
"I'm hearing from a couple of other schools, too," He added. "I get letters from schools like Wisconsin, West Virginia, and a couple of smaller schools around western PA."
