Rising junior receiver is done for the summer

It was a productive summer for rising junior wide receiver Rob Wheelwright.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect from Columbus (Ohio) Walnut Ridge has to feel good about where he stands today, relative to where he was a couple of months ago.

Not long ago Wheelwright camped at Wisconsin. His performance was so good the coaches decided to give him his first verbal offer.
"That was my last camp," Wheelwright explained. "I'm probably done for the summer. I do want to get out to Michigan State sometime.
"I've talked to them (Michigan State) a little bit. That was back during the school year. I've been receiving letters from them."
Wheelwright has also received interest from Cincinnati, Michigan, Notre Dame, Arizona and Syracuse. You can bet that interest will only continue to pick up and more offers will almost certainly come in.
"I don't have any favorites yet," Wheelwright explained.
Last fall Wheelwright hauled in 19 receptions for 300 yards as a sophomore.
He also attended a camp at Cincinnati this summer, though the Bearcats have not offered him yet.
