Capps.
The 6-foot-6, 260-pound tackle from
Landmark Christian is coming off a busy summer camp circuit which saw him make a
good impression on scouts.
"I went to Georgia, Auburn, Georgia Tech,
Alabama and back to Auburn again," said Capps. "I really learned a lot about
footwork and technique, that kind of thing, and how to be better in pass
protection. I also got a chance to go up against some of the best athletes there
are, and that showed me what I need to work on to be a college player."
Capps
says he's received the most interest of late from Georgia Tech, Alabama, Auburn,
Ole Miss and Clemson. His personal top five reads as follows: Auburn, Alabama,
Georgia Tech, Clemson and Georgia.
"It's still early," he said. "A lot of
schools have told me they want to see me in some of my early games and evaluate
some game film. I think I'll know more sometime during the season."
