Ringer commits to Michigan State

Dayton (Ohio) Chaminade running back Javon Ringer needed just one official visit to decide he wants to play for Michigan State.
"He committed to Michigan State," Chaminade coach Jim Place said. "It's 100%.

"He talked to Ohio State all that time, but I told him he had to have a back-up plan. Then he went to Michigan State over the weekend and loved it. And bang, he committed."
The 5-foot-10, 200 pound Ringer rushed for over 2000 yards in both his sophomore and junior seasons. This season Ringer had over 1800 yards when he sustained a serious knee injury during the eigth game of the season. Ringer had surgery Nov. 3 and a complete recovery is expected
