Riggs down to four schools

Four-star cornerback Cody Riggs will make his fourth and final visit this weekend when he travels north to the University of Florida. Riggs, 5-9 and 156 pounds, is from Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
"Before the season, they were my leader based on my unofficial visits," Riggs said. "Right now I am more open. I will visit Florida this weekend and I want to see how I feel during the visit.

"I know they just got a commitment from Josh Shaw. That doesn't bother me with Florida. I like the competition and I am used to that with my team. Besides, I know they need corners, so it's not like it was a surprise."
Riggs has already seen Tennessee, Georgia and Notre Dame. He says he's down to those three and the Gators.
"I will see what happens at Notre Dame because what happens will matter. If (Charlie) Weis is out of there I would likely have to drop them. For me, not know the coaching staff and who I will play for is huge. I mean I would have to.
"I really loved both Georgia and Tennessee. They are two great schools, great programs. Tennessee and Georgia both need corners.
"Everyone is definitely in it and I think I will have a much better idea after this last visit. Right now, I just don't know where I want to go, to be honest."
This past Friday St. Thomas Aquinas played Coral Springs in the first round of the playoffs and won 66-8. They take on South Broward this weekend. Riggs had two interceptions, four pass deflections, and two tackles. He finished the regular season with three interceptions, four blocked fields, and one blocked punt.
"I have played only two complete games. As long as we are winning it's okay with me."
