Rigg favors two

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic linebacker Doug Rigg recently came down with an illness and had to check into a local hospital.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound prospect was released shortly thereafter and said there would be no lasting effects.

Rigg will now direct his attention to the rest of his junior year of high school. He has two weeks remaining and several final exams, and after that he can focus on the recruiting process.
"Recently Miami and Michigan State came up to the school," Rigg explained. "They seemed really interested. Hopefully we'll keep in close contact. Michigan State has seemed a little more interested so far."
Rigg is sitting on offers from Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Rutgers, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Right now two of those schools are standing out above the rest.
"My favorites are probably Iowa and Rutgers so far," he said. "Of course, Rutgers is in Jersey and I'm real into trying to bring Jersey back. With Iowa, I really like the atmosphere and the coaches out there.
"I'll probably try to visit Iowa sometime this summer, and of course I'm always going out to Rutgers. I think I'll go to one combine ... probably the Rivals combine. Then I'm going to camp at Boston College. I don't know other than that. I'll decide everything when we finish our final exams in two weeks."
