Ricks DT likes trip, more on tap

Arizona State is going to be tough to beat for Ricks Junior College defensive tackle Carl Tuitavuki.
Tuitavuki, who is 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, made his official visit to the Tempe campus last weekend.

“It was something else,” Tuitavuki said of the visit. “Man, I loved it. It’s in a great area, in a great city. I really like the warm weather.”
Tuitavuki also says earning early playing time at ASU is a big factor.
“They have three tackles leaving, two are starters and the other one rotates in. That means I could go in there and play right away.”
Although he obviously liked his visit to ASU, Tuitavuki said he’s still talking to other schools and not quite ready to commit just yet.
“I just got off the phone with the coach from Arizona when you called. Kansas State and BYU are still in there, too. I think coach Peterson from Kansas State is supposed to call back this week and we’re going to line up a visit.”
ASU offered Tuitavuki a full scholarship on his official visit. The Sun Devils are the first school, among the schools he is considering, to make that offer.
