Not all the news has been bad lately for Kansas State. Keller, Texas, three-star receiver Andrew Richards committed early in the recruiting process to the Wildcats, and despite their struggles on the field this season, the 6-foot-2, 196-pounder says he’s sticking with his commitment.
“I’m still a K-State commitment, and that’s the only school that I’m visiting,” Richards said. “I’m visiting K-State on December 10. That’s the only school I’m looking at.”
Richards has put up good numbers in his senior season.
Heading into this weekend’s game, Richards has 40 receptions for 668 yards and seven touchdowns. He does have one interception on defense, and he made the most of that pickoff by returning it 101-yards for a touchdown.
Richards has been nominated to play in the Coca-Cola Texas high school all-star game next summer. Richards is ranked as the No. 64 receiver in the nation and is a three-star prospect.
