Richards ready to tour schools

Keller, Texas wide receiver Andrew Richards is one of the better receivers in Texas for the class of 2005 and is planning on showing his talents at a variety of schools’ camps this summer.
“I have several schools sending me information on their schools,” the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Richards said. “I get information on the school, the program and the camps.”
The top schools recruiting Richards at this point are Oklahoma, Arkansas, Baylor, Texas A&M, Iowa and Kansas State.
“I don’t have any scholarship offers yet,” he said. “I am just learning about the schools right now.”
Richards plans on showing his ability at camps this summer at Baylor, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas State.
As a junior, Richards helped Keller to a 9-3 record while hauling in 33 passes for 423 yards and eight touchdowns. The numbers earned him all-district honors in Texas’ Class 5A District 5.
Richards won’t rush into a college choice.
“I want to learn about the schools and talk things over with my parents and my coaches,” he said. “Then I will try and figure out the best place for me to play.”
