Richards hoping for more offers

BRADENTON, Fla. - Florida International, Central Florida, and Western Kentucky have offered Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar two-star cornerback Ahmad Richards. He says that one of those schools stands out and would get his pledge if he was deciding today, but he is hoping that others come calling in the near future.
"I am waiting for better offers but as of right now it would be Western Kentucky," Richards said. "I am just waiting right now though."

Outside of his three offers, Richards isn't receiving very much attention.
"Not really," Richards said when asked if others were on the verge of offering. "I think North Carolina was going to offer me but they already got their cornerbacks in this class. The team that I really want to go to is Georgia, that is a dream school for me, but they haven't really shown me interest."
As for the Hilltoppers, the 6-foot, 163-pound cornerback talked about why they would land his verbal commitment if he were to decide today.
"They are a team that I feel fits me," Richards said. "My dad also likes them. If I was deciding right now, that is the team I would be choosing."
He hopes to reach a decision at some point during August.
"I want to decide before the end of the summer," Richards said.
With regards to upcoming visits, Richards says he will visit Western Kentucky on July 26th. That is the only visit scheduled at this time.
