Richard re-works official vists

The official visit schedule for one of the nation's top 100 players has started to take shape. So what schools are going to get visits from St. Louis Hazelwood East standout fullback David Richard?
"I was supposed to visit Notre Dame on Nov. 30, but they're not looking too hot right now, so I've sort of bumped them off my list," Ricard said.

"So now I'm going to Tennessee on Dec. 7, UCLA on Dec. 14 and will still for sure visit Nebraska, Michigan State and probably Illinois."
Richard said Tennessee - the team he once was committed to - is clearly the team to beat.
"I know they got a lot of good running backs last season, but none of those guys have really established themselves as somebody that's going to keep me from getting a shot if I went there," Richard said.
"Their top back is a senior, and once he is gone, coach Fulmer has made it clear that the best man will get the job."
And Richard thinks he has what it takes to be that man.
The bruising back still hasn't played a full game because of blowouts, but has managed to rush for 100 yards in all but one game.
"I only rushed for 70 that game, but we were up by 30 points at the end of the first quarter, so I didn't play much," he said. "But I've had more than 300 yards in the last two games."
At one point, it looked like Missouri was going to play a spoiler role in the battle for Richard, but that's not the case anymore.
"Some friends of mine went to the first Missouri game of the year," Richard said. "They lost, and their fans started booing their team and coaches. I was very disappointed to hear that. I want to play for a team that stands behind their coaches and players."
A team like Tennessee?
"You bet," Richard said. 'I'm going to be in front of the TV on Saturday night. They've got a big one against LSU. I bet that place is going to be rocking. I can't wait to get back over there for a visit."
