Richard raves about ASU trip

Demario Richard took an unofficial visit to Arizona State this past weekend and the Palmdale, Calif., running back loved it.
He loved the campus, the coaches and the message they delivered during his trip to Tempe.

"It was lovely," Richard said.
"It felt just like home. I went through, went to practice, I sat down with the position coaches and had a little meeting with both coach (Todd and Bo) Graham. That's really it, just getting used to the weather and stuff like that.
"They kept everything honest. They said some things, they were talking about some things that would happen, and when I got there it happened. I'm impressed with their word so far."
It is still early in Richard's recruitment and many programs are involved so far but the 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back said the Sun Devils are definitely in great shape especially after his visit.
He hasn't taken many trips but Arizona State definitely blew him away.
"They're at the top right now," Richard said. "That's my only visit to the whole campus so they're right at the top."
Many other unofficial visits are expected in the coming months for Richard but nothing has been finalized yet.
The Palmdale standout said he's going to take another trip to Arizona soon and then in June he plans to see Oregon, Washington and Tennessee.
Those visits could depend on money and time.
"All of those are unofficial visits so we have to see what the budget is like," Richard said.
