Richard hearing offer rumors

Demario Richard said his recruitment has been relatively quiet in the last week or so but that he's heard some rumors about a possible blockbuster Pac-12 offer coming his way.
The Palmdale, Calif., running back cannot be sure but he's heard that USC is close to offering him and that would be a major one for him to consider.

"There's a rumor going around that USC is going to be next to pull the trigger to offer or something like that," Richard said.
"It would be another offer to consider. I'm not just going to sit there and say USC is what I'm waiting for because it's not. I can't say that's my second home but it's my family's second home because basically I grew up in a USC family."
Arizona State, Tennessee and Oregon are some early favorites for Richard, who said an offer from the Trojans would put them in that upper echelon as well.
An upcoming trip to Arizona State could be big for the 5-foot-10, 200-pound recruit as he gets to learn more about that program and coaching staff. He'll be in Tempe this weekend for the ASU junior day.
"They want me to come out there and see how the facilities are," Richard said.
"They like what they see from me. They really want me to come out there to see their facilities and see how the offense is the same as mine."
Richard is also considering a trip to Boise State in April and he said Washington State has been sending more recruiting mail as well. He will also visit Oregon in June.
In total, the Palmdale star has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA.
In his junior season, Richard finished with 1,722 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns on 188 attempts.
