Rice trips to Syracuse

After postponing his official visit last month, three-star Gaffney, S.C., wide receiver Sidney Rice finally made it up to Syracuse last weekend. It is the only visit he has scheduled so far, but hopes to set up another one soon.
“It was alright,” commented the 6-foot-4, 185-pound prospect, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds and boasts a 35-inch vertical leap. “Nothing really stood out, because I have been there several times on unofficial visits.” He was hosted by junior wide receiver Jared Jones.

Rice still lists Florida, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Southern Cal as schools he is interested in. He does not have any more visits scheduled, but is talking to Southern Cal about a trip, and would also like to visit Tennessee.
“I am just looking for a good place to play and a good atmosphere,” he commented. “I plan to wait until Signing Day, and I will go wherever is best for me.”
So far, the Rivals.com No. 49 wide receiver has offers from Syracuse, Tennessee, Clemson, and South Carolina.
