Rice says hes visiting USC
Gaffney, S.C., three-star receiver Sidney Rice, who is 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, has only taken one official visit in the recruiting process. He said he’s about to take another this weekend.
“I’m scheduled to visit South Carolina,” Rice, ranked as the nation’s No. 55 receiver by Rivals.com, said. “I just want to get down there and see the whole program and check out their academics.”

Rice, however, said he’s not leaning toward the in-state school, despite at one point being listed as a Gamecock commitment. The other trip that Rice has taken was to Syracuse.
“That’s a good school,” he said. “I could be a good fit up there.”
Either way, Rice said he’s not going to announce any kind of decision until signing day.
