Rice made the trip from Illinois to Columbus, Ohio for the NIKE Training Camp at Ohio State. He showed good coverage skills and pretty good strength for his size, doing 12 reps of 185 pounds on the bench press.
"The NIKE Camp gave me another time to workout," Rice said. "I didn't want to go to a camp real close, and Ohio State's a good school so I went to that one."
"I loved it there. It's a nice area."
Rice is drawing interest from recruiters from schools all over the country.
"I like Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois, Georgia, Northwestern, that's about it," Rice said.
"I visited Illinois and Northwestern junior days. Northwestern seems real close to offering."
"I'm trying to go to Michigan and Georgia's camps. I'd say Michigan's my favorite."
