Rice boils up a commit
Longview, Texas, quarterback Joel Armstrong couldn't wait any longer and has actually made up his mind to where he's going.
"He verbally committed to Rice," his mother Gussie Armstrong said. "He just really liked his chances to play quarterback there."
Rice gets the commitment over SMU and TCU. Armstrong, a three-star dual-threat quarterback, visited Rice this past weekend.
