College coaches have been passing through East Providence, R.I. on a regular basis this month, but James Silva hasn’t paid much attention.
“Right now, I have no idea where I want to go to school,” said Silva, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound safety and running back.

A number of coaches from the Patriot League and Atlantic 10 have been by to visit Silva, who has already received an offer from the University of Rhode Island.
“Syracuse has also been through and Indiana is supposed to be coming soon,” said Silva, whose brother plays running back at Holy Cross.
Although Silva has received the most interest from I-AA schools, he’s confident he can he can make an impact at the I-A level.
“I went to the Boston College and Connecticut spring games,” Silva said. “And I feel like I could play there. If not, I’ll take a I-AA scholarship.”
Silva said he plans to attend the BC camp this summer.
