Reynolds keeping options open

San Antonio (Texas) John Jay wide receiver Joshua Reynolds caught attention in the spring after recording 950 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior.
His 6-3, 180-pound frame helped keep that attention as well as the athleticism he showed on defense and on the track. This summer Oregon State extended a scholarship offer and Baylor and TCU were among those showing interest.

As a senior in 2012, Reynolds has continued to show strong. Reynolds recorded 667 yards and 8 TDs on 44 receptions. On defense he recorded 3 INTs and he also handled Jay's kicking duties. However, the recruiting front remains relatively quiet but he does have two offers on the table.
"It's kind of slowed down a bit," Reynolds said. "Right now it's just Oregon State and Incarnate Word."
In September he visited Oregon State. After his visit Reynolds said he enjoyed the entire atmosphere and especially enjoyed the coaches. Since the visit he has built a solid relationship with the Oregon State coaches, but also says he does not have a leader.
Oregon State and Incarnate Word are not the only ones showing interest, two new schools have also been keeping in touch.
"Right now it's Kansas and UTSA," Reynolds said.
Since visiting Oregon State he has not taken any other visits. He did plan to take an unofficial visit to UTSA but was unable to make it.
Reynolds was sad to see his senior football season come to an end on Friday night, but he has already shifted focus and is currently doing his best to help the John Jay basketball team.
