Reuland set for unofficial tour

At the recent EA SPORTS Elite 11 QB camp, one of the pass catchers we had was Mission Viejo (Calif.) tight end Konrad Reuland. Reuland will leave today for a four school unofficial tour and then hopes to have his decision narrowed by the end of August.
Reuland, 6-6, 240 pounds is the nation's best at his position and watching him catch passes all week long during the Elite 11 camp, it was easy to see why. The tight end is so comfortable catching the ball and does a great job of adjusting to the throw whether it's right there for him or slightly behind him or over his head. To think he's still a puppy when it comes to the game and has only being playing for two years shows what kind of upside he has at the college level.

The final day of the camp was on Thursday and following the workout, Reuland told us he's about ready to do some serious flying.
"Yeah, I leave tomorrow for Nebraska," Reuland told us on Thursday. "Then I'll be going to Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State and spending one day at each of those colleges. I'm really looking forward to this and I think it will go a long ways in helping me figure out what schools make the cut when I start to narrow my list.
"Right now, I still have about 8-12 schools I'm considering. In addition to the out of state schools I'm visiting, in the Pac 10, I like USC, UCLA, Stanford and Cal. I just finished my Stanford application and sent it in so now I'm just waiting to see if I was accepted there. After I'm done with these trips, I'm going on a cruise with my family and when I get back, I'll sit down and try and get my list down to five."
We asked Reuland if he would be taking official visits in the fall and if so, would he still officially visit one of the out of state schools he's unofficially visiting right now.
"I definitely plan to take my official visits," Reuland said. "I don't know if I'll be able to take all five because during the season, my focus is on our team here and then once the season is over, I jump right in to basketball. I'm hoping to take at least three though and it won't matter if I've already seen a school on an unofficial visit. When I narrow my list down, I'm going to visit the schools I have in my final top five so if one of these schools I'm visiting right now makes the cut, yeah, I'll definitely go check them out again."
