Just because Lane Kiffin has left the world of Power Five football doesn't mean he's left the college football recruiting headlines. According to Fox Sports College Football reporter Bruce Feldman, Kiffin extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2022 quarterback Kaden Martin, the son of USC offensive coordinator and former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin. Martin's older brother Amari Rodgers confirmed the offer to Rivals.com after speaking with his brother on Monday afternoon

According to Rodgers, a 2017 Clemson signee and Rivals250 prospect, Kaden is on the fast track to becoming an elite prospect and is already taller than Rodgers, who is listed at 5-foot-9. Feldman said Martin, who is also a star baseball player, is 5-foot-11, 175 pounds.

The offer to Martin isn't the first time that Kiffin has extended a scholarship offer to a middle school quarterback. Back in 2010, Kiffin offered quarterback David Sills and he promptly committed to the Trojans, despite the fact that he was just 13 years old at the time. Sills went on to play at West Virginia, where he is currently a wide receiver.

Rodgers said Martin was very excited about receiving his first offer.
