Renfree lands offer from local school

After earning QB MVP honors at the recent NorCal NIKE Camp, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame signal caller Sean Renfree has seen his stock skyrocket. The quarterback picked up his third offer since the camp on Tuesday.

Renfree, 6-3, 200 pounds landed offers from Stanford and Arizona immediately following the NIKE Camp and picked up another Pac 10 offer Tuesday.

"Sean got a phone call from Dennis Erickson at ASU and they offered a scholarship," Renfree's father Kevin said. "He's pretty excited because of Coach Erickson's reputation and since it is the home town program.

"He still wants to visit a couple of the schools he hasn't seen- especially Georgia Tech- before he commits, but continues to say he will commit toward the end of June. Right now, Sean is really enjoying the process and likes talking to all these college coaches. He feels fortunate and is excited by all the attention."
