Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame quarterback Sean Renfree was supposed to visit Nebraska this weekend and the Corn Huskers were doing very well with the talented signal caller. Those plans have now been altered after teh Huskers picked up a quarterback over the weekend.
The last time we spoke with Renfree, he was excited for his visit to Nebraska, which was scheduled for this coming weekend. Along with ASU, the Huskers appeared to be leading for Renfree but they jumped on another signal caller this past weekend.
"They took another quarterback (Kody Spano) so I won't be visiting Nebraska any more," Renfree said. "I decided to move up my Duke visit that was set for (Jan 25) to this weekend and then I still have Boise State set for (Jan. 11).
"I'm down to those two along with Oregon State and ASU and I should be ready to make a decision after my visit to Boise State. I was looking forward to seeing Nebraska but that's how recruiting goes sometimes. I still have some good options and I know things will work out for the best."
