Reid still receiving phone calls

Galena Park (Texas) North Shore Robbie Reid has been taking several calls since making his verbal commitment to Oklahoma State.
“I had gotten several earlier in the month,” the 6-foot-3, 224-pound Reid said. “But, to tell you the truth, really I haven’t heard from anyone in about a week. Except for Oklahoma State. They have called. And I'm still committed to them.”

The four-star rated, No. 3 dual-threat quarterback has taken calls from Tennessee, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida State, Texas, Alabama and Texas since his pledge earlier this summer.
“There were a lot of schools early on,” he said. “But several haven’t called at all since I committed. I’m not really worrying about it. I’ve made my commitment and I’m not losing any sleep about who has or hasn’t called. I’m just focusing on my season.”
Reid has led North Shore to a 2-0 start.
“I don’t know my stats. I’m not too worried about them. They’ll be there when I’m done this year. It doesn’t matter to me what they are as we go along. I just want to keep winning.”
