Reid pulls offer No. 2

Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy athlete Albert Reid landed his second scholarship not too long ago. The latest offer for the 5-foot-11, 195-pounder came from across the country.
"I got my second offer from Stanford in February," he said. "That's good. That's a good offer and a good education.

"I haven't really looked into them. Everybody talks about their education and good football program. I talked to their coach a couple times, but I'm hoping to go for an unofficial visit."
The other scholarship in hand for Reid at this time is from Duke.
Plenty of other schools are interested though.
"I've got a couple more interested," he said. "My coach said Vanderbilt has called a couple times and Northwestern, Maryland has talked to him and is showing some interest."
Meanwhile, Reid took a visit not long ago to one of the local schools.
"The only places I've visited were Duke and Maryland," he said. "I went to Maryland for their junior day. That was good. I got to meet the new coaches and it's good, they are trying to keep some talent in this area."
A strong 3.3 GPA student, Reid claims he is wide open at this time point in time, but did discuss what he wants.
"I'm still open to other schools, but pretty much what I'm looking for is a good college education," he said. "The two offers I have are good educations, Duke and Stanford. I just ant some good coaches to be around and a good atmosphere."
