Regular contact for Beckworth

Jacksonville (Fla.) Raines running back Torrance Beckworth says that a few schools have shown a consistent effort in speaking with him and trying to land his services.
"Lately I have been talking to Ohio, Middle Tennessee, N.C. State, and Florida A&M a lot," Beckworth said. "I have also talked to Kentucky a couple of times. That is about it."

Beckworth reports a written offer from Florida A&M. He also claims verbal offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Southern, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, Rutgers, and Stanford.
At this time, the 5-foot-9, 202-pound athlete hasn't scheduled any visits.
"I haven't scheduled any trips yet," Beckworth said. "I am still waiting."
The Sunshine State prospect is taking a wait-and-see approach to see what other offers and interested parties come into the picture. He believes that some colleges are trying to make a determination of which side of the ball they would prefer him on.
"I think a lot of colleges aren't sure what they want me to play," Beckworth said. "They are still trying to figure out if I will play offense or defense."
Defensively, Beckworth could play as a defensive back or undersized linebacker.
When it comes time to make a decision, Beckworth is looking for the right fit and the ability to play the position he prefers.
"I am basically looking at the colleges and trying to figure out the composition of the team as well as the environment," Beckworth said. "Location is also important, because I don't want to go to far. It also comes down to football, because I want to play early if possible and I would prefer to play offense. I want to play running back in college."
