West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial athlete Armani Reeves is already up to a dozen verbal scholarship offers and you can bet those offers will continue to come flooding in.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect recently received word that Rutgers was verbally offering him. That came as good news, though it's still too early for Reeves to talk about favorites.
He's starting to get a good idea as to what he wants to do in the future.
"I'll be visiting Michigan and Penn State in March," Reeves explained.
Reeves has already visited Rutgers, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Maryland. He said all of those trips went well, and he will continue to visit those schools as well as others he hasn't been to.
"They were all nice schools," he said, referring to all of those previous visits in general. "I had fun with the (coaching) staffs and everything."
When asked whether he could see himself making an early decision Reeves seemed to downplay the possibility of that happening.
"I'm probably going to wait a little while," he said.
