Reeves ready for junior day

Junior athlete Armani Reeves of West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial is looking to keep a busy schedule this winter. With one junior day already under his belt, he will hit the road once again this weekend to get a closer look at an ACC program.
Reeves, 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, already holds offers from Boston College, UConn, Penn State, North Carolina and Wake Forest.

"Recruiting is good," said Reeves. "Just a lot of coaching changes at some of the schools I've been talking to lately."
In between all of the coaching chaos, Reeves decided to take a visit to Rutgers last weekend for his first junior day.
"It was good," said Reeves. "I talked to the new defensive back's coach and Coach Schiano himself. They were both really excited about me. The whole staff was, so it was a good visit."
Up next for Reeves is a visit to Wake Forest for their junior day, and then possibly a West Coast visit.
"Maybe Stanford, but with the coaching changes there, I'm still trying to figure it all out right now," said Reeves.
Aside from the school visits, Reeves will participate in at least two events.
"I'll be going to the NUC/Rivals.com Five-Star Showcase and I'm doing the 7-on-7 event at Rutgers too," said Reeves. "I want to prove that I'm still one of the tops in my class, and especially around here. I feel like if I do my best and work hard, it will be hard for anyone around here to compete with me. I want to prove that I'm head and shoulders over everyone and that I'm college D1 ready."
