Reese plans back-to-back B1G visits

Three-star Farmington, Mich., 2016 linebacker David Reese holds five Mid-American Conference offers, but he is looking to add Big Ten offers and will see two schools in that conference over the next two weekends.
"I am going to Illinois this weekend," Reese reported. "I am very excited to see them play. We have been communication with them during the summer. I was supposed to work out for them at Sound Mind (camp), but they didn't have a chance to get down to the linebackers.

"I know Coach (Tim) Banks and Coach (Mike) Bellamy. I like the fact that Coach Banks is a defensive-first coach and he's from here."
Reese will follow up his trip to Illinois with a game visit to Purdue the following weekend.
"Purdue, I got a chance to camp with them and they said I was one of the elite 2016s," Reese said. "They said once they started offering 2016s they would give me a call. They've been sending a lot of mail and staying in contact."
The previous visit to West Lafayette has given Reese a base of knowledge about the University and football program.
"I love the fact that they are a very prestigious university. That's something I look forward to seeing at the school," Reese said. "Another thing about Purdue, their game against Notre Dame they stayed in it so it seems they are growing and on the right track."
Other schools Reese is considering for game visits this fall include Boston College, Pitt, Tennessee and North Carolina. Each of those schools are showing interest, with Boston College being among the most frequently in-contact.
"I have been in contact with Boston College," Reese said. "We have conversations almost every Thursday."
The 6-foot-1, 226-pound Reese is playing middle linebacker and running back for Farmington High this fall. He estimates 3-4 sacks on defense through three games this season.
