Reedy ready for the next step

Bernard Reedy is one of the fastest prospects in the state of Florida. Reedy, from St. Petersburg Lakewood High School, is a jack of all trades and is electrifying with the ball in his hands. He has over 900 yards rushing and 15 touchdowns. Reedy has three more scores through the air and has returned two kickoffs back for touchdowns. He's also a very good cover corner.
"I think I have having a good season," Reedy said. "I am playing running back, slot, corner and returning punts and kicks. Most teams are recruiting me as a slot receiver."
According to Reedy he has scholarship offers from Toledo, Syracuse, Iowa, Iowa State, Troy, Georgia Southern, and Colorado State.
"I went to Toledo (10-24). It was very cold but I enjoyed it. I like how they use their slot guys. They have top academics and their offensive is pretty conducive to my style.
"I am leaning towards talking visits to Syracuse and Colorado State. I am not sure on the others but I plan on getting all five (visits) in."
Reedy, 5-9 and 170 pounds, is looking to play in a wide open offense.
"I am at my best with the ball in my hands in space. I am explosive. I am more suited to play in a spread offense.
"Right now I am open to everybody."
Lakewood is 7-2 on the season. They face Northeast tomorrow night before talking on, Pasco in first round of playoffs."
