Reedy ready for all-star games

Bernard Reedy is a speedy three-star prospect from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood High School. Reedy, 5-8 and 165 pounds, is gearing up for a few all-star games. First up is the Pinellas County High School All-Star game on Wednesday.
"I am getting ready for that one and one next week in Lakeland," Reedy said. "It's been hard because I am in the middle of basketball season right now. I am our starting point guard and right now we are unbeaten."

Reedy had a very productive senior season, playing on both sides of the ball (wide receiver and cornerback) and special teams. He scored 23 touchdowns; 17 rushing, four through the air and returned two kicks.
In terms of recruiting, he has taken one official visit and that was to Toledo (10-23).
"That was a real good visit but it's just cold up there. They have a great staff, a good program and I like their academics."
Several other teams are showing interest in Reedy like Iowa State, Mississippi State and others.
"Iowa State is coming by tomorrow and I know the head coach is coming. I will set up an official visit to them in January for sure. Presbyterian came by today and I am getting a lot of interest from Mississippi State. They are going to have a big class and an offer should be coming in. They need a speed guy for the slot. I will probably visit them too.
"West Virginia came by and they like me as a cornerback and kick returner. USF is recruiting me hard but they have not offered me. Troy and Colorado State are also showing interest in me."
