Reed still waiting

Taylor Reed is a wide receiver prospect from Memphis (Tenn.) University School. Reed, 6-2 and 180 pounds, is playing the waiting game with recruiting.

"Right now I am talking to several schools and they are saying that they have given out most of their scholarships," Reed said. "They all said I will have to wait and see what happens with those receivers that have been offered ahead of me. That's the deal with Southern Miss. Memphis wants me to visit next weekend while Mississippi State and Virginia are two schools I am waiting on. This is a little nerve racking. If something does happen I will have to decide quickly."

If Reed doesn't get an opportunity with Memphis, Southern Miss, Virginia or Mississippi State if could get a chance with a smaller school like Tennessee Tech.

"I have talked with them and other schools like them. We'll see what happens."
