Reed has plans for one trip

Houston (Texas) Jersey Village cornerback Jacoby Reed may have expected a faster start to recruiting, but he's now on the board with his first three scholarship offers.
The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder has been working hard in the classroom. Reed, according to his coach (David Snokhous), would have more offers if his academics had been a bit better this spring. Nonetheless, Arkansas, UTEP, and Baylor all are on the board with their offers and Reed has a visit coming up to one of his offers.

"Arkansas will be my only visit this summer," Reed said. "I'm trying to make my decision before the season starts, but that's the only one I'm going to visit."
Reed will take the trip to the SEC school on July 21, along with teammate Desmon Marrs.
"I've been working out at the school a lot," Reed said. "I haven't been anywhere else so far this summer because I've been busy. I'm looking at all the schools the same right now too but I'm not going to have much time to take anymore visits other than this one to Arkansas."
With Arkansas being his only trip, it would be safe to say that they're the team to beat.
"Yeah, you could say that I guess," Reed said. "I couldn't really tell you what it is that I like about them. It's just something that I do."
